Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast_Force Powers_Jump

Force Jump

Duration: Immediate
Area of Effect: Jedi only
Energy Cost: 2 - 7 points
Effect: Allows Jedi to make a tremendous vertical leap.

Sample Force Jump (Kyle in air using force jump)
Rank 1 - Jedi can leap up to twice his normal jump height.
Rank 2 - Jedi can leap up to four times his normal jump height.
Rank 3 - Jedi can leap up to eight times his normal jump height.

When you start the game, you'll instantly realize how weak Kyle's normal jump is. Fortunately, you can remedy this problem with the powers of the force. The higher you go up in ranks, the higher you can jump. This move is excellent for dodging fire by enemies, especially if you can jump really high.

Using the Force Jump move, you can also run along walls. While not particularly practical, it looks really sweet. Press both forward and strafe in the direction of the wall at the same time, while slightly at an angle towards the wall. Press the jump key. If you hold it, Kyle will run along the wall. If you press jump while Kyle's already on the wall, he'll do a kick flip off.

Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast_Force Powers_Speed

Force Speed

Duration: 5 seconds
Area of Effect: Jedi and surroundings
Energy Cost: 7 points
Effect: Jedi speeds up and slows the world around him.

Sample Force Speed

Rank 1 - Jedi moves 25% faster than normal.
Rank 2 - Jedi moves 50% faster than normal.
Rank 3 - Jedi moves 100% faster than normal.

When you use Force Speed, the environment will slow down. However, Kyle's movement will be more erratic and harder to control. Force Speed is excellent for coming up to enemies fast, and is even helpful sometimes while fighting Reborn or Shadow Troopers.

Keep in mind the high energy point cost of the move though, and how your energy will not replenish until the effects of Force Speed have worn off.

Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast_Force Powers_Pull

Force Pull

Duration: Instantaneous effect
Area of Effect: Objects only
Energy Cost: 1 point
Effect: Allows Jedi to pull specific work objects to him.

Sample Force Pull (Jedi using Force Pull on the Lightsaber)
Rank 1 - Jedi can pull certain levers on objects in the targeting reticle; can also pull one enemy.
Rank 2 - Jedi can pull the weapon out of the hands of an enemy, providing the enemy is facing him.
Rank 3 - Jedi can pull multiple enemies and their weapons.

Force Pull is similar to use as the Force Push. While it as well can be used to push crates and other objects for puzzles, it is most effectively used to deter enemy activity. Pulling an enemy will cause them to come towards you, falling down. This makes the convenient to hit.

At the higher ranks of Force Pull, you can have it effect more enemies, or more importantly, pull their weapons from their hands. This will make the basically helpless as they try to flee.

Against Reborn and Shadow Troopers, Force Pull is less effective than Force Push.
